Bill Ye
Bill Ye is deeply committed to public welfare and charitable initiatives. He has organized more than sixty community publicinterest events across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), supporting local efforts to combat the pandemic. In recognition of his contributions, he received the Ontario Government’s June Callwood Outstanding Volunteer Management Award in 2022.
He has previously served as President of the Fudan University Alumni Toronto Association, Chair of the Confederation of Chinese Alumni Associations, and Board Director of the Chinese Professional Association Canada.
He currently serves as an EDA Board Director for the Conservative Party of Canada in the Burlington North–Milton West and Mississauga–Erin Mills ridings. He participated in the 2025 nomination race in the Mississauga–Erin Mills riding and supported election campaigns in 2025 for Mississauga–Centre, Mississauga–Lakeshore, Burlington North, Richmond Hill, Markham–Unionville, Kitchener–Conestoga, and Durham, among others.
Bill Ye is currently employed by the Government of Ontario as a Health Services Information Technology Manager. He has nearly 30 years of crosssector experience spanning banking, manufacturing, small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government.
He immigrated to Canada in 2000 and holds academic credentials from universities in China, Canada, and the United States. He studied at the School of Computer Science from Fudan University and Athabasca University, School of Business from The George Washington University, and Healthcare from Harvard Medical School.
